Questions about ensuites

Practical answers before you begin.

Every home is different. These answers are a useful starting point, and the details are confirmed after a look at the room.

How do we make a small ensuite feel larger?

Layout, sightlines, storage, lighting, glass, and appropriately scaled fixtures can make a compact ensuite feel more open and useful.

Can you add a double vanity?

Possibly. Available width, plumbing locations, clearances, and storage priorities are reviewed in the existing room first.

Can we replace an old jetted tub?

Yes. Replacing a large, dated jetted tub with a freestanding tub, or with a larger shower, is one of the most common ensuite changes.

Can the layout change?

Often, yes. Moving the toilet, enlarging the shower, or reworking the vanity wall depends on plumbing locations, structure, and the space available.

Can you add in-floor heating?

Yes. In-floor heating can be installed under new tile and is best planned early, alongside the electrical work.

How long does an ensuite renovation take?

Most take about two to four weeks once work begins, depending on the size of the room and how detailed the design is.

Are consultations and estimates free?

Yes. The first consultation and the estimate are free. Call 403-560-0810 or use the request form above.
